An Afternoon at Mountain Meadows Golf Course
I recently spent a afternoon photographing Mountain Meadows Golf Course in Pomona, California — a hidden gem nestled near the San Gabriel Mountains. The sunset was perfect, casting long shadows across the rolling fairways and tree-lined greens.
Originally opened in 1927 and redesigned by Ted Robinson Sr., this public 18-hole course offers sweeping views, challenging elevation changes, and some truly beautiful tee boxes. I especially enjoyed capturing the textures of the landscape — from the rough edges of the bunkers to the stillness of the twilight holes.
If you're a golf lover, local photographer, or just appreciate serene landscapes, this photo series gives a glimpse of one of Southern California’s most scenic golf courses.
